After 5 played minutes San Lorenzo de Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Omar Enetz. After recieving a nice pass, Asociación alumni's Antonio Flor tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dalmacio Roldanillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucio Solustiano's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Lucio Solustiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dalmacio Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Erasmo James who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asociación alumni's Enrique Bembe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Justino Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo de Almagro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Chago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo James sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Lucio Solustiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo de Almagro's Dalmacio Roldanillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Justino Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Enrique Bembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erasmo James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Chago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Bembe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Justino Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo James struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Enrique Bembe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo de Almagro. 39 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Almagro's Erasmo James sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Bembe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Justino Chago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Enrique Bembe made a huge save. Severo Nerio hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Lucio Solustiano made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Raimundo Eudoxio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 62 minutes into the game, Inocencio Dei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo de Almagro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asociación alumni the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, San Lorenzo de Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Dei to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Eudoxio took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmacio Roldanillo. Dalmacio Roldanillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Omar Enetz hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Asociación alumni's Raimundo Eudoxio got a free kick in the 75th minute. Erasmo James sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Justino Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enrique Bembe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo James in the 86th minute of play. Justino Chago struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Enrique Bembe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo de Almagro. After a defensive mix-up in Asociación alumni's zone, Erasmo James stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Bembe came out of the goal and Erasmo James tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute Erasmo James shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Bembe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Lorenzo de Almagro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Asociación alumni for a fine match.
