The Deportivo Ballester fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Tano should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Rosendo Evarado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Tano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Tano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Evarado in the 29th minute of the match. When Roman Abalos fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Señor Fútbol's protests and gave Roman Abalos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Señor Fútbol's Roman Abalos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Deportivo Ballester's Tadeo Domeka managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eugenio Xabat in the 44 minute of the game. After 46 minutes of play El Señor Fútbol's Roman Abalos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 47th match minute, El Señor Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Abalos to maneuver through the defense. After the first half El Señor Fútbol were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rosendo Evarado made a kick off. Rosendo Evarado might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaston Tano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rosendo Evarado ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, Rosendo Evarado made a precise shot to the right of Gaston Tano. Deportivo Ballester's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Sebastian Roldan's late challenge caught a Deportivo Ballester's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Roldan helped the player get up and apologised. Carolo Presebal kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Gaston Tano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jesus Shantala. Gaston Tano came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by El Señor Fútbol's Rosendo Evarado. But to his dismay, Rosendo Evarado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 95th minute, Alejandro Berart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 100th minute of the match, Rosendo Evarado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gaston Tano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El Señor Fútbol had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
