The supporters of Diadema AFC booed when EL CHARRUA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hori Bernabeytia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Jacindo in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Benat saved EL CHARRUA from getting behind. Domingos Baladi kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Diadema AFC's Celestino Quintun got a free kick in the 9th minute. Silvio Benat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Felipo in the 16th minute. Silvio Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Beturian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes, EL CHARRUA's José Vítor Botelho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 谢阳冰 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EL CHARRUA reached it. Silvio Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Jacindo in the 35th minute of play. After 37 minutes EL CHARRUA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celestino Quintun who took care of the corner kick. Diadema AFC's Celestino Quintun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvio Benat in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. EL CHARRUA's Silvio Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Domenec in the 38th minute of play. When Camilo Manex came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the EL CHARRUA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Manex couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Diadema AFC defense, Camilo Manex kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 谢阳冰. The Diadema AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 谢阳冰 should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Jacindo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvio Benat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camilo Manex could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but 谢阳冰 made a huge save. Diadema AFC's 谢阳冰 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Maciel in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Diadema AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Manex came free, but 谢阳冰 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
