When Lugano FC's Evaristo Ezkerra in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ODIN FC.'s goalie prevented a goal. Astor Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Tancredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 12th play minutes Gogo Tancredo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Astor Corderun and just under the crossbar into goal. When Felipe Boni fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lugano FC's protests and gave Felipe Boni a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Gogo Tancredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ODIN FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Tancredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Carolo Azeari made a precise shot to the right of Astor Corderun. Lugano FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Lugano FC's Astor Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Azeari in the 24th minute of play. Americo Burni's late challenge caught a ODIN FC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Americo Burni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Americo Burni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carolo Azeari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Carolo Azeari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Corderun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Ixaka got free with Rogelio Bernaldo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Astor Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Azeari in the 54th minute of play. Felipe Boni got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of ODIN FC. booed when Lugano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Carolo Azeari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gogo Tancredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Corderun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gogo Tancredo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute, Carolo Azeari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Lugano FC's goalkeeper Astor Corderun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Tancredo. Astor Corderun made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Gogo Tancredo sent off a good shot on target. Astor Corderun came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by ODIN FC.'s Gogo Tancredo. But to his dismay, Gogo Tancredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Gogo Tancredo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Carolo Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Rodriguez's late challenge caught a ODIN FC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Rodriguez helped the player get up and apologised. Igor Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Gogo Tancredo in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Astor Corderun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. ODIN FC. played a much better game than Lugano FC and deserved their victory. The Lugano FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
