In the 3rd minute Denis Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Rik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Santio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Txerran in the 5th minute of the match. Denis Loi struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Mario Rik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maza. If Godfredo Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Loi struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Mario Rik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maza. After 22 minutes, Felix Galoer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maza and the Lavalle players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Maza got a freekick which was hit by Felix Galoer. In the 29th match minute, Maza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Lekubegi to maneuver through the defense. Lavalle's Marco Roldan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maza. Mario Rik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Loi in the 35th minute of play. Denis Loi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Rik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lavalle's zone, Godfredo Tipi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Rik came out of the goal and Godfredo Tipi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute Denis Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Rik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Loi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Enzo Farias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Santio having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gogo Montel to make the kick off. After 59 minutes, Marcos Txerran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavalle and the Maza players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Maza fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Maza's Godfredo Tipi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Godfredo Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Enzo Farias fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lavalle's protests and gave Enzo Farias a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 minutes of play, Maza's Godfredo Tipi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Rik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maza's Denis Loi got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enzo Farias did an outstanding performance 86 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-1 to the right of an irritated Pablo Santio in the goal. Maza's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Gogo Montel scored to the left of an out of position Pablo Santio, making the score, 2-2. The Lavalle players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Maza from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
