Faustino Salomone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Pedro Bazil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Leonel Mikelats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dumesnil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Mikelats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Desiderio Argider kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Luis Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Enaut in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Faustino Salomone made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Bazil. GUARDIA DE LA NOCHE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Francisco Aritza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dumesnil FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GUARDIA DE LA NOCHE the free kick. A collision led to Dumesnil FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Francisco Aritza hit a great ball. Oscar Pereyra hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Francisco Aritza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Dumesnil FC's Leonel Mikelats got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Jobo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by GUARDIA DE LA NOCHE's Herminio Dimo. But to his dismay, Herminio Dimo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 38th minute Leonel Mikelats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Bazil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumesnil FC's Leonel Mikelats got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigoberto Enaut to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Dumesnil FC got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Naelio. In the 52nd minute, Rigoberto Enaut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Faustino Salomone dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Bazil, 1-2. 63 minutes in the game, Faustino Salomone fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pedro Bazil having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Mikelats got free with Pedro Bazil in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute of the match, Faustino Salomone tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Bazil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 69th minute of the match Dumesnil FC got a corner. GUARDIA DE LA NOCHE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ambrosio Irrintzi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Dumesnil FC's Ambrosio Irrintzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Bazil despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of GUARDIA DE LA NOCHE booed when Dumesnil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Lehior didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, GUARDIA DE LA NOCHE's Pedro Bazil got control of the ball when Leonel Mikelats tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to GUARDIA DE LA NOCHE getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Herminio Dimo hit a great ball. Faustino Salomone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GUARDIA DE LA NOCHE's Pedro Bazil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save GUARDIA DE LA NOCHE from getting a goal against them. Leonel Mikelats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Salomone showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Faustino Salomone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Bazil having to make a save.
