Cristian Haimar came out of the goal and Joel Fernanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Edorta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Haimar having to make a save. In the 39th minute, Jose Pasqual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermegildo Edorta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Cristian Haimar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Delmiro Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Olo in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, BICHO LOCO's Alejo Mergildo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmiro Urbasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Pacific were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after BICHO LOCO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ermegildo Edorta took the corner. In the 58th minute Ermegildo Edorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Edorta in the 61st minute of play forced BICHO LOCO's goalkeeper Cristian Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Ermegildo Edorta put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cristian Haimar. When Ermegildo Edorta came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Pacific fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Edorta couldn't finish the play.
