An unexpectedly hard shot by German Pagomari in the 3rd minute of play forced Morrillo AFC's goalkeeper Augusto Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Morrillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when German Pagomari came free, but Augusto Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Javiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Fernendo in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute German Txartiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejandro Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Augusto Javiar made a huge save. Augusto Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Rosalio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of German Txartiko's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A collision led to C.A.Virreyes getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Enrique Xabel hit a great ball. After 31 minutes, Jonathan Lorien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morrillo AFC and the C.A.Virreyes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Jonathan Lorien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Aznaro charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Aznaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes C.A.Virreyes got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Aznaro. After some careless play in the Morrillo AFC defense, Alejandro Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Javiar. The Morrillo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Javiar should have stopped the shot. If German Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morrillo AFC's Augusto Javiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Morrillo AFC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Morrillo AFC defense, Alejandro Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Javiar. The Morrillo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Javiar should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Morrillo AFC's Gaudencio Heli got a free kick in the 45th minute. Morrillo AFC's Augusto Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Pagomari in the 46th minute of play. Ladislao Fernendo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Javiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when German Txartiko made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Alejandro Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morrillo AFC's Augusto Javiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Sancho in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, C.A.Virreyes's goalkeeper Benedicto Rosalio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by German Txartiko. In the 75th minute, Alejandro Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Virreyes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Amancio Aznaro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Augusto Javiar came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Virreyes's Alejandro Sancho. But to his dismay, Alejandro Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejandro Sancho in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Javiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that C.A.Virreyes were the better team. C.A.Virreyes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
