In the 18th minute Gaudencio Tulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalmo de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Arctic Monkeys FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolás Burdisso to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Brun hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Raimundo Diegotxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Brun struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Fermin Gonza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arctic Monkeys FC. With a little luck, Azulcuesta's Fermin Gonza got control of the ball when Ricardo Brun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fermin Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hieronim Anszczak during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hieronim Anszczak hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Tulio to make the kick off. If Gaudencio Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Brun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Azulcuesta's Gaudencio Tulio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 81st minute, Bruno Cerilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute of the match Damaso Peru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fermin Gonza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 84 played minutes Arctic Monkeys FC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Lee. In the 86th minute, Ricardo Brun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arctic Monkeys FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 92 minutes into the match, Arctic Monkeys FC's Ricardo Brun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fermin Gonza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaudencio Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azulcuesta's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Arctic Monkeys FC had won, even though Azulcuesta had held more of the ball.
