Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Buck in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Oriche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Santos Isias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Barea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, C.A. Quilmes de Almagro's Sixto Oriche got control of the ball when Julian Theodore tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Cirilo Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Isias having to interfere. Guido Erlantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute of the match Srbobran Janjić sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sixto Oriche skillfully saved the ball. Guido Erlantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sixto Oriche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quilmes de Almagro's Sixto Oriche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Buck in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Julio Buck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 97 minutes, Guido Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Temibles Angelitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Erlantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
