Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rucanelo 's Camilo Piarres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Leo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruperto Bide was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Camilo Piarres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Cordarell got free with Ruperto Bide in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruperto Bide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Piarres, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Cordarell got free with Ruperto Bide in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonel Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruperto Bide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Cordarell in the 34th minute. When Leo Cordarell, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 38 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ruperto Bide was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Rucanelo got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Piarres. Leo Cordarell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ruperto Bide made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Gorbea made a kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Camilo Piarres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rucanelo 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Piarres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Camilo Piarres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruperto Bide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camilo Piarres's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Ferrando during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Rucanelo got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Ferrando. In the 69th minute, Luciano Malvin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rucanelo 's Benigno Refugio didn't even have to move. If Leo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Piarres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ruperto Bide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rucanelo 's Benigno Refugio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Rucanelo from getting a goal against them. The Rucanelo fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Rucanelo 's Leo Cordarell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 82 played minutes Cachiyuyo got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Malvin. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cachiyuyo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leopoldo Federigo was slow to take the kick. During this time Rucanelo 's players had a chance to rest. After 87 played minutes Cachiyuyo got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Libertad. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Camilo Piarres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rucanelo 's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Piarres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Bide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cachiyuyo booed when Rucanelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Ferrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Rucanelo defense, Fernando Lehen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Refugio. The Rucanelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Refugio should have stopped the shot. Leo Cordarell took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Bide. Ruperto Bide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Rucanelo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
