The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Americo Montez fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cervezeros FC's protests and gave Americo Montez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cervezeros FC's Americo Montez got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 10th minute Guillermo Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Gorzkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Igor Ordono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirovano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Ordono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Birjaio in the 13th minute of play forced Cervezeros FC's goalkeeper Federico Tripodi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Tripodi made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Cleto Raulo sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Cervezeros FC's goalkeeper Federico Tripodi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Ordono. Guillermo Guillelmo charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Guillelmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guillermo Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match, Bernardo Birjaio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Federico Tripodi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Federico Tripodi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Birjaio in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Ordono got free with Federico Tripodi in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Pirovano booed when Cervezeros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Arano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pirovano getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Feliberto Arnas hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximo Asur made a kick off. Cleto Raulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Federico Tripodi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Cervezeros FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Arano. Federico Tripodi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Birjaio in the 64th minute of the match. Pirovano's Igor Ordono got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Birjaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Tripodi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Cleto Raulo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirovano's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Raulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Tripodi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pirovano's Igor Ordono suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 84th minute of the match Guillermo Guillelmo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guillermo Guillelmo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Pirovano's Aristides Mano was substituted for Igor Ordono. After a rather tough play, Cervezeros FC's Guillermo Guillelmo got a free kick in the 85th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Cervezeros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Mano came free, but Federico Tripodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cervezeros FC's zone, Bernardo Birjaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Tripodi came out of the goal and Bernardo Birjaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cervezeros FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Pirovano had controlled the match.
