Spectators: 6632 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1632, VIP seats: 0) POMBO's Delmar Palban started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Delmar Palban scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godofredo Alvarez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FEPUT A.C.'s attentive Atilano Eguen managed to snatch the ball when Tadeo Xabel made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. The supporters of FEPUT A.C. booed when POMBO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Xabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Teodoro Erlantz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 15 played minutes POMBO got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Guillelmus. Delmar Palban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Godofredo Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Palban in the 20th minute of play forced FEPUT A.C.'s goalkeeper Godofredo Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Delmar Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POMBO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Palban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godofredo Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godofredo Alvarez came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by POMBO's Delmar Palban. But to his dismay, Delmar Palban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to FEPUT A.C. getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Pedro Policarpio hit a great ball. Godofredo Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Maria, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Delmar Palban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Delmar Palban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes POMBO got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Palban. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Godofredo Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Palban in the 55th minute of play. POMBO's Teodoro Osmundo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Godofredo Alvarez but with some difficulty. In the 61st minute, Delmar Palban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hermengildo Transito fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored POMBO's protests and gave Hermengildo Transito a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, POMBO's Hermengildo Transito got a free kick in the 65th minute. With a little luck, FEPUT A.C.'s Godofredo Alvarez got control of the ball when Delmar Palban tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Pedro Policarpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmar Palban had several of the FEPUT A.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Godofredo Alvarez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fermin Pierres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Delmar Palban got free in front of the goal in the 83rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Godofredo Alvarez was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Felix Isidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godofredo Alvarez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Delmar Palban took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Godofredo Alvarez to make any attempt to save it. In the 90th minute, Delmar Palban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmar Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, FEPUT A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Felix Isidor came free, but Godofredo Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Mario Lorenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POMBO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Lorenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Osmundo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Godofredo Alvarez. FEPUT A.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched POMBO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
