Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Natalio Chinto kicked off to start the match. Prudencio Mendiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prudencio Mendiko struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Inocencio Onbera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Velez Sarsfield. C. A. Velez Sarsfield's Fermin Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Chinto in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Alfredo Bento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inocencio Onbera made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Prudencio Mendiko sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the C. A. Velez Sarsfield defense, Natalio Chinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermin Ariando. The C. A. Velez Sarsfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Ariando should have stopped the shot. Prudencio Mendiko came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Inocencio Onbera could save by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, Villa Ortúzar's goalkeeper Inocencio Onbera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cirilo Basualdo. Fermin Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Chinto in the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Robustiano Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Velez Sarsfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fermin Ariando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Chinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Cirilo Basualdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Francis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Robustiano Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Inocencio Onbera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cirilo Basualdo made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Cesar Justin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inocencio Onbera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robustiano Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes C. A. Velez Sarsfield got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Mendiko. 61 minutes into the game, C. A. Velez Sarsfield's Prudencio Mendiko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Onbera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 64 minutes into the match, Cirilo Basualdo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Villa Ortúzar's Inocencio Onbera. Inocencio Onbera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67thth minute of the game Cirilo Basualdo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Ortúzar's Inocencio Onbera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Robustiano Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Onbera. Villa Ortúzar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robustiano Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Severo Rameriz charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Rameriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severo Rameriz kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Ionut Dinu came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the C. A. Velez Sarsfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionut Dinu couldn't finish the play. Cirilo Basualdo might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inocencio Onbera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Basualdo ran back to his position shaking his head. Inocencio Onbera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Dario Clis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, C. A. Velez Sarsfield's Severo Rameriz got a free kick in the 89th minute. Hilario Txartiko was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Natalio Chinto came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Villa Ortúzar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Chinto couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute, Rene Francis made a precise shot to the right of Inocencio Onbera. Villa Ortúzar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. C. A. Velez Sarsfield walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
