The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruperto Guib during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ruperto Guib kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Tomás Abascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Efren in the 21st minute of play. After 30 played minutes Etchegoyen got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Sal. Tomás Abascal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Etchegoyen's Tomás Abascal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Etchegoyen from getting a goal against them. Leo Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Abascal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Leo Cruz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Etchegoyen's Tomás Abascal. Tomás Abascal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Tomás Abascal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Orlando Sal fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Etchegoyen's protests and gave Orlando Sal a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Etchegoyen got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Sal. After a defensive mix-up in Etchegoyen's zone, Mateo Efren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Abascal came out of the goal and Mateo Efren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ceferino Rico hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Etchegoyen's Aaron Sal got a free kick in the 79th minute. With 81 minutes on the clock, Gonzalo Sabino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Etchegoyen! Etchegoyen's Tomás Abascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Cruz in the 86th minute of play. Mateo Efren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Abascal having to make a save. Tomás Abascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Cruz in the 94th minute of play. Aaron Sal's late challenge caught a Recompou Storm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Sal helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Recompou Storm fully deserved thier win.
