In the 28th minute of the match Paladar Negro got a corner. Falucho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evaristo Qwinton ran over to the corner to take the kick. 32 minutes into the match, Paladar Negro's goalkeeper Braulio Figueroa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Gora. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Erubiel Gabirel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Erubiel Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Paladar Negro's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Gabirel came free, but Braulio Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
