Plottier's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Domingues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Florentino Domingues sped through Plottier's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hector Galtero. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Invictus Club's goalkeeper Horacio Juvenal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, Plottier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Rufo to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Florentino Domingues made a precise shot to the right of Hector Galtero. Plottier's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Invictus Club fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Invictus Club's Florentino Domingues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th minute Florentino Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Invictus Club's Marciano Bilbo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Galtero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hector Galtero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Bilbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alonzo Ayala charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Ayala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Plottier's zone, Florentino Domingues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Galtero came out of the goal and Florentino Domingues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Invictus Club were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herminio Rufo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Plottier's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Orixe came free, but Hector Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Plottier getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Saverio Lope hit a great ball. Invictus Club's Bernardino Orixe got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Plottier's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Domingues came free, but Hector Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Plottier getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cesar Bartoleme hit a great ball. If Marciano Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Florentino Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invictus Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Galtero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Plottier defense, Florentino Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Galtero. The Plottier fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Galtero should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Orixe in the 72nd minute of play forced Plottier's goalkeeper Hector Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Invictus Club's Marciano Bilbo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Galtero made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Marciano Bilbo sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th match minute, Invictus Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Cesar Bartoleme's late challenge caught a Invictus Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Bartoleme helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Plottier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Bartoleme to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
