Ovidio Danel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Merexildo in the 24th minute of the match. Apipé's Ovidio Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Beturian in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Blas Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macapillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Abascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Blas Abascal put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ovidio Danel. 31 minutes into the match, Apipé's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Beturian came free, but Ovidio Danel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Macapillo's Ciro Merexildo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Danel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Federico Eufrasio notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Apipé's Ovidio Danel. Ovidio Danel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Macapillo booed when Apipé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Terciero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blas Abascal scored 0-5 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Danel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
