After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, German Che stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Eutropio came out of the goal and German Che tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 minutes, Filomeno Senio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the Solano Juventud Unida players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eren Acarbey in the 37th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Denis Eutropio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Eren Acarbey notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Racing Club's Denis Eutropio. Denis Eutropio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. German Che's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Oinaz made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Delmar Lertxun sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Racing Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Eren Acarbey scored to the left of an out of position Denis Eutropio, making the score, 1-3. If German Che had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eren Acarbey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Denis Eutropio made a huge save. After some careless play in the Solano Juventud Unida defense, Higinio Che kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Oinaz. The Solano Juventud Unida fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Oinaz should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Eren Acarbey came free, but Denis Eutropio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If German Che had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Racing Club's Denis Eutropio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. 2-4 became the score in the 70th minute when German Che elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eren Acarbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Denis Eutropio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Denis Eutropio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Denis Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Rayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Pablo Pedroso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosme Oinaz. Solano Juventud Unida's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eren Acarbey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Denis Eutropio made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Pablo Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
