In the 12th minute, Julio Inguma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Katmandú fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 15th minute of the match, Julio Inguma tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Generoso Kimetz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mutlualp Yamanoz in the 18th minute of play forced EL CHALTEN.F.C's goalkeeper Generoso Kimetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Katmandú defense, Wlodzimierz Borcz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Fanuco. The Katmandú fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Fanuco should have stopped the shot. Edgard Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wlodzimierz Borcz in the 26th minute of the match. Ivan Argider hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Katmandú's Mutlualp Yamanoz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Generoso Kimetz. That made the score 4-1 after 39 minutes of play. Alfredo Jokin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Adrian Tonete kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ramon Benet hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Julio Inguma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Kimetz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Generoso Kimetz came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Katmandú's Julio Inguma. But to his dismay, Julio Inguma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. When Julio Inguma came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Katmandú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Inguma couldn't finish the play. Julio Inguma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Kimetz having to interfere. Edgard Fanuco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lucio Caetano. Wlodzimierz Borcz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Edgard Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Fanuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Ur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EL CHALTEN.F.C's Generoso Kimetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mutlualp Yamanoz in the 80th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Alfredo Calisto put in a rough tackle. In the 81st minute, one of Katmandú:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Katmandú. Wlodzimierz Borcz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 87th match minute, Katmandú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Telo to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th match minute, EL CHALTEN.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Regis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Borcz in the 94th minute of play forced Katmandú's goalkeeper Edgard Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
