Spectators: 6966 (Terracing: 5328, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 5) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dario Sanduru made the kick off which started today's match. Club Atlético de Rafaela's Baldomero Caetano got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Colpes booed when Club Atlético de Rafaela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Marko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anibal Tano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Piorno having to interfere. If Anibal Tano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Club Atlético de Rafaela fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Club Atlético de Rafaela's Francisco Guipuzkoa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Baldomero Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco Guipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Octavio Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Dario Sanduru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Piorno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Caetano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Colpes's Dario Sanduru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Octavio Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Guipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colpes's Octavio Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Caetano in the 45th minute of play. After some careless play in the Colpes defense, Francisco Guipuzkoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Neto. The Colpes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Neto should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomero Caetano made a kick off. In the 64th match minute, Club Atlético de Rafaela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Marko to maneuver through the defense. In the 66thth minute of the game Anibal Tano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético de Rafaela's Anastasio Piorno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luciano Marko's late challenge caught a Colpes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Marko helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Club Atlético de Rafaela got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Marko. 69 minutes into the match, Club Atlético de Rafaela's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Sanduru came free, but Anastasio Piorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Urdaspal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anastasio Piorno. Club Atlético de Rafaela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bartolo Pepillo lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 79th match minute, Club Atlético de Rafaela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Pepillo to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes, Colpes's Braulio Foro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anastasio Piorno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colpes reached it. In the 80th match minute, Club Atlético de Rafaela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Caetano to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Club Atlético de Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Evarado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Colpes's zone, Baldomero Caetano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Neto came out of the goal and Baldomero Caetano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Kauldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
