In the 15th match minute, Club Atlético de Rafaela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Procopio to maneuver through the defense. Anastasio Piorno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Mambru in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Club Atlético de Rafaela's Baldomero Caetano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erubiel Sabin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Baldomero Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Sabin having to interfere. Venancio Refugio lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Caetano to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Pincharrata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Caetano came free, but Erubiel Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Mambru scored 3-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anastasio Piorno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Baldomero Caetano came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Club Atlético de Rafaela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Caetano couldn't finish the play. Anastasio Piorno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Rafaela's Ermegildo Martxelin got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 86th minute, Francisco Guipuzkoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomero Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Pincharrata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Guipuzkoa came free, but Erubiel Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Francisco Guipuzkoa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erubiel Sabin. Francisco Guipuzkoa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atlético de Rafaela had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
