Madariaga were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Tigers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gaston Cortez took the corner. The corner led to Madariaga's Aurelio Distiratsu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Madariaga's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Xabel came free, but Rogelio Mitxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Indar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Cortez in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the game Damaso Mero made a throw-in which Enrique Xabel played forward. After 38 played minutes Madariaga got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Cortez. Rogelio Mitxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Xabel in the 40th minute of the match. Aurelio Distiratsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Godfredo Indar made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Iigo got free with Godfredo Indar in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Godfredo Indar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Tibalt, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When Ciro Tibalt came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Madariaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Tibalt couldn't finish the play. Godfredo Indar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Beat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Gaston Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Indar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
