To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, skeleton's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Veronica came free, but Orlando Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Emiliano Acuña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. skeleton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Armstrong the free kick. The referee gave skeleton a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maximino Itzaina, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Defensores de Armstrong's Celedonio Procopio. 1-5.
