Spectators: 6306 (Terracing: 5306, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Esteve Unax started the match with the kick off. Leonides Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Firmo in the 3rd minute of play. Oliver Lautemann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteve Unax in the 9th minute. In the 10th match minute, Top Cat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Tabb to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Tolino might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Lautemann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domingos Tolino ran back to his position shaking his head. When Cirilo Itzaina fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Top Cat's protests and gave Cirilo Itzaina a yellow card for diving instead. Leonides Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Oihenarte in the 16th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Maria got free with Oliver Lautemann in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Top Cat's goalkeeper Oliver Lautemann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Oihenarte in the 24th minute of play forced Deportivo Charrúa's goalkeeper Leonides Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Firmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Oihenarte scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Urtzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Deportivo Charrúa's Leonides Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Oihenarte in the 31st minute of play. Carlos Firmo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Firmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Top Cat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Oihenarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Higinio Oihenarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Top Cat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Constantino Luke charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantino Luke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Deportivo Charrúa got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Luke. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Higinio Oihenarte made the kick off in the second half. If Domingos Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 52 played minutes Top Cat got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Firmo. 54 minutes into the match, Top Cat's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Atarrabi came free, but Oliver Lautemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Esteve Unax cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Oliver Lautemann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonides Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Leonides Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Oihenarte in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Higinio Oihenarte lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Leonides Urtzi. Benicio Maria charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Maria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benicio Maria hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of Deportivo Charrúa booed when Top Cat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Cristobal Barrionuevo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Top Cat's Higinio Oihenarte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 82nd minute, Cirilo Itzaina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Top Cat's Carlos Firmo got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes Deportivo Charrúa got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Unax. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Charrúa's Domingos Tolino got a free kick in the 89th minute. Top Cat's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
