After 4 played minutes Re pandilla got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Jatsu. The nice shot from Maximiliano Satordi in the 12thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Luisito Aurken had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 15 minutes into the match, Mateo Derwin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luisito Aurken, 1-0. Evaristo Abaurre struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Emanuel Castel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paragua Utd.. 22 minutes into the match, Re pandilla's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Lalla came free, but Emanuel Castel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Re pandilla's Miguel Jatsu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Miguel Jatsu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Re pandilla protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Miguel Jatsu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Re pandilla! Mateo Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Aurken having to interfere. Silvestre Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Aurken having to interfere. Mateo Derwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrigo Vida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Aurken having to interfere. Luisito Aurken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Derwin's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Nathaniel Coonfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arrigo Vida shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Mateo Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, Paragua Utd.'s Rolando Ostadar made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Castel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Abaurre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes, Re pandilla's Nathaniel Coonfield shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luisito Aurken came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Re pandilla reached it. Luisito Aurken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Derwin in the 60th minute of play. After 61st play minutes Mateo Derwin shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Luisito Aurken and just under the crossbar into goal. When Mateo Derwin came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Re pandilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Derwin couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute Evaristo Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Castel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Mateo Derwin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Luisito Aurken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mario Lalla hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Mateo Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Re pandilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Derwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Aurken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mateo Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Aurken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nathaniel Coonfield's shot from short distance in the 90th minute.
