In the 6th minute, Celestino Oriche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Martxot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Magdaleno in the 13th minute of play forced Es la Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Pascual Martxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnulfo Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Tacanas FC's Arnulfo Magdaleno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascual Martxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 27 minutes of play, Tacanas FC's Celestino Oriche made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Martxot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domingos Gustau kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Pascual Martxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Oriche, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Es la Guardia Imperial's Pascual Martxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Oriche in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Oscar Bizen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Es la Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Oriche came free, but Pascual Martxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arnulfo Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Es la Guardia Imperial players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tacanas FC were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaias Frances to make the kick off. If Isaias Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Oriche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Calvet's late challenge caught a Tacanas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Calvet helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tacanas FC booed when Es la Guardia Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Calvet didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tacanas FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Domingos Gustau hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tacanas FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Gonsalve, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Victorio Cristofol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacanas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Es la Guardia Imperial the free kick. A collision led to Tacanas FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Victorio Cristofol hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Es la Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Pascual Martxot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celestino Oriche. In the 67th match minute, Tacanas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Oriche to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Es la Guardia Imperial booed when Tacanas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Magdaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Celestino Oriche reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pascual Martxot. The goal made the score 1-5. Celestino Oriche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Pascual Martxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Martxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Magdaleno in the 86th minute of the match. In the 92nd play minute Celestino Oriche came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pascual Martxot. 1-6. Celestino Oriche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tacanas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
