Placido Luzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Magdaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Kuervito.07's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Magdaleno came free, but Placido Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Feliu in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Tacanas FC's Arnulfo Magdaleno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Placido Luzea. Placido Luzea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Kuervito.07's zone, Arnulfo Magdaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Luzea came out of the goal and Arnulfo Magdaleno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Gelacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gervasio Gonsalve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Beti's late challenge caught a Tacanas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Beti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Kuervito.07 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Beti to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Feliu in the 41st minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Placido Luzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Oriche in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Tacanas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Sustrai to maneuver through the defense. In the 61stth minute of the game Celestino Oriche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kuervito.07's Placido Luzea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Kuervito.07's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Oriche came free, but Placido Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Arnulfo Magdaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Gonsalve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ildefonso Feliu in the 75th minute. After 78 played minutes Tacanas FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Magdaleno. In the 86th minute, Elpidio Gelacio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kuervito.07 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Ildefonso Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute.
