An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Cordeal in the 14th minute of play forced Football Club Astra's goalkeeper Rigoberto Rolado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guachipas CFK's zone, Gonzalo Roland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Ignazio came out of the goal and Gonzalo Roland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Lesardo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Guachipas CFK got a freekick which was hit by Cengiz Akağan. 22 minutes into the game, Football Club Astra's Gonzalo Roland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteban Ignazio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 26th minute, Iker Videl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Football Club Astra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Severiano Gonza fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guachipas CFK's protests and gave Severiano Gonza a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 minutes of play, Guachipas CFK's Amancio Cordeal made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rigoberto Rolado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The wind increased when Iker Videl made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iker Videl in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Ignazio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rosendo Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Guachipas CFK got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Jobo. After some careless play in the Guachipas CFK defense, Iker Videl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Ignazio. The Guachipas CFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Ignazio should have stopped the shot. Rigoberto Rolado didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Guachipas CFK's Amancio Cordeal shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-4 in the ordered_time% minute.
