Gregorio Veremundo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Luciano Ireno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Ove Brogren in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Tatangol's goal looked a bit too open when Olari Haud came free, but Luciano Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Chayo lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Luciano Ireno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Ove Brogren's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Luciano Ireno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Laurentzi went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Olari Haud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Augusto Valentine sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bar Korova's Ildefonso Valery didn't even have to move. In the 47th minute Martin Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernard Konieczny to strike the kick off in the second half. The Tatangol players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
