Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marcelino Ranolfo made the kick off which started today's match. Avellaneda's Adrian Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Nahia in the 6th minute of play. Ramon Abeijon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Maria in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Maria got free with Ramon Abeijon in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Metal Gear Solid booed when Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Beltran didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Maria got free with Ramon Abeijon in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Avellaneda defense, Vinicio Furtado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Oto. The Avellaneda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Oto should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Ranolfo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramon Abeijon was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. With a little luck, Metal Gear Solid's Ramon Abeijon got control of the ball when Benito Maria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramon Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Ranolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Marcelino Ranolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Metal Gear Solid's zone, Benito Maria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Abeijon came out of the goal and Benito Maria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Avellaneda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Metal Gear Solid were winning 0-1.

Matias Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ramon Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Avellaneda's Julian Iruinea in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Metal Gear Solid's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th match minute, Metal Gear Solid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Ihintza to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Metal Gear Solid's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Maria came free, but Ramon Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Marcelino Ranolfo made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Abeijon. Metal Gear Solid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 66 minutes of play, Avellaneda's Marcelino Ranolfo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Abeijon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramon Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Ranolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Marcelino Ranolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Ranolfo scored 3-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramon Abeijon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Nahia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Iruinea kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Metal Gear Solid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Ihintza to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Avellaneda players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
