Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Urbano Barto kicked off to start the match. Urbano Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Galeno having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Benedicto Tancredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Botija's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Tancredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Tancredo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Bonifacio Galeno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botija. Mallín FC's Emiliano Herauso got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Bernardino Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mallín FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardino Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Abad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Leopoldo Tauro fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botija's protests and gave Leopoldo Tauro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Botija getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Leopoldo Tauro hit a great ball. Emiliano Herauso took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basilio Abad. Basilio Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A hard shot by Marcelino Guillelmo from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Bonifacio Galeno's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Albino Eudoxio hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Emiliano Herauso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basilio Abad. Botija's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Herauso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Goren in the 36th minute of play forced Botija's goalkeeper Basilio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Botija's zone, Emiliano Herauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Abad came out of the goal and Emiliano Herauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Botija booed when Mallín FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 51st minute Leopoldo Tauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Botija's goalkeeper Basilio Abad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Basilio Abad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Herauso's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Bernardino Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Basilio Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Herauso in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Abad saved Botija from getting behind. Basilio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Herauso in the 78th minute of play. Bernardino Goren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Basilio Abad made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Emiliano Herauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardino Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Basilio Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernardino Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Albino Eudoxio suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Leopoldo Tauro was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 89th minute, Leopoldo Tauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Elivareo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mallín FC's Bernardino Goren got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
