In the 18th minute Norberto Bikendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Senen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 23 in the game by Clodoveo Jago from a close distance when the talented Omar Senen managed to make a qualified save. Itacaruaré FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Montxo in the 26th minute of play forced Xeneizes Futbol Club's goalkeeper Dalmacio Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Itacaruaré FC's Delmiro Tonio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmacio Gonchan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Norberto Bikendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. In the 40th minute, Clodoveo Jago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Itacaruaré FC's Ramon Tancredo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Xeneizes Futbol Club booed when Itacaruaré FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Montxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 played minutes, Xeneizes Futbol Club's Danilo Maurin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omar Senen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xeneizes Futbol Club reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Omar Senen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Xeneizes Futbol Club's Anacleto Frances shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Omar Senen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Bikendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Clodoveo Jago made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Itacaruaré FC's Omar Senen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Jago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Senen was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Jago in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Senen saved Itacaruaré FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Martino in the 90th minute of play forced Itacaruaré FC's goalkeeper Omar Senen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Senen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Jago in the 93rd minute of the match. Anacleto Frances struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Omar Senen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xeneizes Futbol Club. When the referee ended the match the Xeneizes Futbol Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
