OLIMPO's Santos Benino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ermegildo Handi but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Gabino in the 38th minute of play forced OLIMPO's goalkeeper Cecilio Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in OLIMPO's zone, Saul Gabino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Fernendo came out of the goal and Saul Gabino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Gabino couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Handi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Franco's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Skate or die's Nicasio Sotero got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
