Albano Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Nemesio Lop had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Montero. No te va gustar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Lop was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A hard shot 22 in the game by Nemesio Lop from a close distance when the talented Amador Montero managed to make a qualified save. No te va gustar's players were relieved. 26 minutes into the match, No te va gustar's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Lop came free, but Amador Montero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Gagriel charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Gagriel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albino Gagriel hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Amador Montero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, No te va gustar's Narciso Cordeiro got a free kick in the 37th minute. Amador Montero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Lop in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Carpe Diem's Nemesio Lop sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Montero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nestor Gerazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Astor Montrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Lop was the one to do the kick off. Albano Lorien struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Amador Montero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carpe Diem. Alberto Sayveon hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes of play, Carpe Diem's Nemesio Lop made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amador Montero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amador Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Gagriel in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Carpe Diem's goalkeeper Astor Montrel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Oliveiro. A collision led to No te va gustar getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mario Oliveiro hit a great ball. Amador Montero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Lop's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Gagriel in the 82nd minute of play forced No te va gustar's goalkeeper Amador Montero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carpe Diem's Astor Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Oliveiro in the 83rd minute of play. Carpe Diem's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Nestor Gerazan scored to the left of an out of position Astor Montrel, making the score, 3-1. Nemesio Lop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Nestor Gerazan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. No te va gustar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpe Diem the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, No te va gustar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Gerazan to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Gerazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carpe Diem walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
