Andrey Sazonov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Calisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Primitivo Calisto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrey Sazonov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. If Walmyr Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Fabian Molden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Calisto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Primitivo Calisto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Calisto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chancho FC's zone, Honorato Ursino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrey Sazonov came out of the goal and Honorato Ursino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cerrito FC's Walmyr Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 minutes of play, Cerrito FC's Primitivo Calisto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrey Sazonov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walmyr Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Santo Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrey Sazonov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Ursino in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Chancho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Molden to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Chancho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Abar came free, but Andrey Sazonov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Cerrito FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Henric to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Primitivo Calisto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Andrey Sazonov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Primitivo Calisto might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrey Sazonov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Calisto ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Henric in the 60th minute of play forced Cerrito FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Chancho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walmyr Paes came free, but Andrey Sazonov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Reyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Henric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmyr Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, Cerrito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Abar to maneuver through the defense. If Walmyr Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santo Abar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrey Sazonov having to interfere. In the 77th minute Angelino Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cerrito FC's Santo Abar got a free kick in the 78th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Cerrito FC's Primitivo Calisto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrey Sazonov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Cipriano Cugat fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Chancho FC's zone, Walmyr Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrey Sazonov came out of the goal and Walmyr Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrey Sazonov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmyr Paes in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes Chancho FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Molden.
