Spectators: 7161 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 105) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonathan Hernandez started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes of play, Sarasa's Gerson Barbosa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerson Barbosa took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Santos. Simon Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Constantino Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, C. D. Las Cucarachas's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Viviano came free, but Simon Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerson Barbosa took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Santos. Simon Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. A collision led to C. D. Las Cucarachas getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Leo Fagildo hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Emanuel Farias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Santos. C. D. Las Cucarachas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Farias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Cornelio Artizar charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Artizar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sarasa's Eduardo Viviano got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Angelo Hunfredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Angelo Hunfredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Simon Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C. D. Las Cucarachas's zone, Eduardo Viviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Santos came out of the goal and Eduardo Viviano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerson Barbosa to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerson Barbosa in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Zacarias Jesco came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Sarasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Jesco couldn't finish the play. Angelo Hunfredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Simon Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerson Barbosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simon Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerson Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingo Bonadona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Mateus having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Angelo Hunfredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarasa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Hunfredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 played minutes Sarasa got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Barbosa. C. D. Las Cucarachas's Jonathan Hernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Viviano, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Eduardo Viviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Santos having to interfere. Sarasa's Constantino Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Fagildo in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the C. D. Las Cucarachas defense, Gerson Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Santos. The C. D. Las Cucarachas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Santos should have stopped the shot. Leon Baumer kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Sarasa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C. D. Las Cucarachas.
