After a rather tough play, FC Krylia Sovetov's Moises Goiz got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 27th match minute, FC Krylia Sovetov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikard Panadić to maneuver through the defense. Calingasta's Domingo Opilano got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Rikard Panadić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rikard Panadić made the kick off in the second half. Benito Ricart charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match was over Calingasta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Krylia Sovetov throughout the match.
