With an all-out effort, Mattaldi's Julio Beltxe threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nereo Turi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Nereo Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Beltxe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Venancio Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Venancio Lorien took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Julio Beltxe to make any attempt to save it. The attack was good, but when Nereo Turi in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 72nd match minute, Club Desamparados MDQ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Velasco to maneuver through the defense. In the 74thth minute of the game Nereo Turi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Desamparados MDQ's Julio Beltxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Nereo Turi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mattaldi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Turi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Venancio Lorien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Lorien hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Pastor Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Club Desamparados MDQ defense, Nereo Turi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Beltxe. The Club Desamparados MDQ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Beltxe should have stopped the shot. Mattaldi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
