After a rather tough play, Cañete's Eustacio Rexino got a free kick in the 4th minute. Cido Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Niguel, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Baltasar Goizeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bernardo Maties tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Aquilino Monico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosario's Bernardo Maties was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Venancio Niguel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cido Figueiredo was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Cido Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Chesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Goizeder got free with Bernardo Maties in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 29 in the game by Baltasar Goizeder from a close distance when the talented Bernardo Maties managed to make a qualified save. Rosario's players were relieved. Cañete's Cido Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Niguel in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermengildo Louis to make the kick off. Pascual Chesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cido Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Cristobal Erlantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Hermengildo Louis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Damian Isaio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cido Figueiredo. The goal made the score 1-1. Bernardo Maties took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Monico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Baltasar Goizeder sped through Rosario's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardo Maties. Eustacio Rexino kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Cido Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Niguel in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, Cañete's Cido Figueiredo got control of the ball when Pascual Chesus tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Damian Isaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Cañete's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Niguel came free, but Cido Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Maties showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Goizeder in the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Rosario booed when Cañete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casildo Mezquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Goi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Rosario's Hermengildo Louis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cido Figueiredo. Cido Figueiredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
