But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Mino couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the game, one of Arbolito FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bernhardt Gamsbøl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Corderall having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Cristobal Illan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arbolito FC the free kick. Cristobal Illan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Bernhardt Gamsbøl struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Zeledon Corderall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arbolito FC. Bernhardt Gamsbøl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Corderall having to interfere. Gerardo Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zeledon Corderall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eleuterio Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Foro to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Mero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Eron in the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Aira FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Celedonio Birjaio hit a great ball. Ismael Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Aira FC booed when Arbolito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Foro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Corderall having to interfere. The supporters of Arbolito FC booed when Aira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Casado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Arbolito FC's Bernhardt Gamsbøl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Corderall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Bernhardt Gamsbøl kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Bernhardt Gamsbøl was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Arbolito FC's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. Arbolito FC's Celedonio Lizer was substituted for Gerardo Austin. In the 66th match minute, Arbolito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernhardt Gamsbøl to maneuver through the defense. After 69 minutes, Enzo Dominguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aira FC and the Arbolito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Enzo Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernhardt Gamsbøl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Fernan Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Avellaneda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Corderall came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Arbolito FC's Bernhardt Gamsbøl. But to his dismay, Bernhardt Gamsbøl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 91st minute, Arbolito FC's Celedonio Lizer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Zeledon Corderall was a little too slow when Eleuterio Foro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-4.
