In the 21st match minute, Aira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Hori to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Aira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Peruanton came free, but Zeledon Corderall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ezequiel Peruanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Juan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Peruanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Corderall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute Ezequiel Peruanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Corderall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, San Juan FC's Leopoldo Arano got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Peruanton in the 37th minute of play forced Aira FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Corderall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ezequiel Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Corderall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Peruanton in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Higinio Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Juan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Rodriguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Corderall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Aira FC's zone, Ezequiel Peruanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Corderall came out of the goal and Ezequiel Peruanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd match minute, San Juan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Corderall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Peruanton in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Fernan Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Eutor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes San Juan FC got a freekick which was hit by Bento Ramos. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aira FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Corderall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. San Juan FC's Fabian Harri was substituted for Juan Lehen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Peruanton got free with Zeledon Corderall in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvaro Eutor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. San Juan FC's Ezequiel Peruanton got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ezequiel Peruanton managed to get in a good position for a shot.
