Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Damaso Cuartio got the match started through his kick off. Desiderio Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Oto, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Desiderio Napier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidro Oto's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Fermin Eguerdi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Isidoro Reyes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Napier having to make a save. 12 minutes into the match, PICAPIEDRAS's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Cuartio came free, but Ariel Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidro Oto in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Napier saved Boquerón AFC from getting behind. Ciriaco Enol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Desiderio Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Ciriaco Enol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PICAPIEDRAS and the Boquerón AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciriaco Enol kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Augusto Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boquerón AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PICAPIEDRAS the free kick. After 22 played minutes Boquerón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Cruz. Desiderio Napier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Oto in the 23rd minute of play. Desiderio Napier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidro Oto's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. A collision led to Boquerón AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Augusto Cruz hit a great ball. Isidro Oto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Desiderio Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Boquerón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Eguerdi. If Edelmiro Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Boquerón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Eutropio. Edelmiro Ostots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Desiderio Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When PICAPIEDRAS's Isidro Oto in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boquerón AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Isidro Oto might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Napier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidro Oto ran back to his position shaking his head. After 61 minutes, Damaso Cuartio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boquerón AFC and the PICAPIEDRAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Damaso Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Hernan Bartolome left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boquerón AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Desiderio Napier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Reyes in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Damaso Cuartio made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Liher. PICAPIEDRAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Isidoro Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot. PICAPIEDRAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Reyes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damaso Cuartio scored 3-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Liher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ildefonso Ugutz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Enol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Napier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After 88 played minutes Boquerón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Cuartio. Omar Gaizkine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Liher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Cuartio in the 93rd minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, PICAPIEDRAS's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Cuartio came free, but Ariel Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of PICAPIEDRAS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. PICAPIEDRAS may have spent more time on the ball, but Boquerón AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
