But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Erruki couldn't finish the play. After 7 minutes of play, Ismiango's Desiderio Erruki made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Paul was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Carolo Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, Ismiango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Erramu to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes, Knights's Maximino Jordy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isaac Meder came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Knights reached it. In the 23rd minute Desiderio Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Paul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ildefonso Qwinton charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Qwinton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ildefonso Qwinton hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ismiango's Anibal Santio got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Erruki in the 31st minute of play forced Knights's goalkeeper Augusto Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Gonzalez scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Paul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Santio in the 37th minute of play forced Knights's goalkeeper Augusto Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Anibal Santio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ismiango's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Santio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Filomeno Cayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ismiango's Anibal Santio fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Dominic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Erramu during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Desiderio Erruki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes in the game, Desiderio Erruki fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Augusto Paul having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Ismiango's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Perez came free, but Isaac Meder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Dominic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismiango's Isaac Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Dominic in the 93rd minute of play. Ismiango's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
