Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonatan Jakobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Lorenz in the 11th minute of play. With 13 minutes on the clock, Freddy Berenguer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Mandiyu de banfield. Robustiano Natanael stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonatan Jakobe. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Lorenz in the 19th minute of play forced Salguero FC's goalkeeper Jonatan Jakobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cecilio Hibai during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Simon Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Iban in the 27th minute of play. Angel Iban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Simon Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Steven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Iban in the 34th minute. Angel Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angel Iban to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Salguero FC's Gualterio Alonso made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Steven was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the game, Damian Innocenzio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonatan Jakobe. Damian Innocenzio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Simon Steven came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Salguero FC's Santiago Martino. But to his dismay, Santiago Martino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. If Pastor Lorenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celedonio Pacho kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Salguero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Alonso to maneuver through the defense. If Angel Iban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mandiyu de banfield's zone, Santiago Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Steven came out of the goal and Santiago Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th match minute, Mandiyu de banfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Mitxel to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Angel Iban notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Mandiyu de banfield's Simon Steven. Simon Steven was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the game, Salguero FC's Santiago Martino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Steven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Martino in the 94th minute of play forced Mandiyu de banfield's goalkeeper Simon Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Iban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Simon Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Salguero FC fully deserved thier win.
