Spectators: 7116 (Terracing: 5339, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 141) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeronimo Perrando kicked off to start the match. When Breas FC's Ladislao Elodio in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pichincha's goalie prevented a goal. Pichincha's Elpidio Raitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Perrando in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Breas FC's Ladislao Elodio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Raitin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eriberto Paulin's late challenge caught a Pichincha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Paulin helped the player get up and apologised. Eriberto Paulin hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Aldo Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pichincha's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Enekoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Telmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Raitin came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Breas FC's Jeronimo Perrando. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Perrando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Jeronimo Perrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Pichincha's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Perrando came free, but Elpidio Raitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Breas FC's Jeronimo Perrando made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Raitin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elpidio Raitin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Elodio's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The Pichincha players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Breas FC were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Enekoitz to make the kick off. Pichincha's Elpidio Raitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Pichincha from getting a goal against them. Elpidio Raitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Perrando in the 58th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Pichincha got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Roderigo. After 59th play minutes Jeronimo Perrando shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Elpidio Raitin and just under the crossbar into goal. Elpidio Raitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Perrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Raitin made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Ladislao Elodio sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Perrando notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Pichincha's Elpidio Raitin. Elpidio Raitin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 1-6 became the score in the 83rd minute when Aldo Enekoitz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ladislao Elodio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Elpidio Raitin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 87 played minutes Pichincha got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Roderigo. When the final whistle sounded Breas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pichincha.
