A very good chance. 11 minutes in the game, Fausto Hustaz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Elpidio Raitin having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Hustaz in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Raitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Conrado Luken reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elpidio Raitin. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 26th minute Arturo Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Raitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Roderigo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s Fausto Hustaz got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, Pichincha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Camerino to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 32 minutes, Fausto Hustaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A hard shot 37 in the game by Lucjan Wodaszak from a close distance when the talented Elpidio Raitin managed to make a qualified save. Pichincha's players were relieved. Elpidio Raitin made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Lino Darien sent off a good shot on target. Pichincha's Elpidio Raitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Pichincha from getting a goal against them. Aldo Enekoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Placido Frantzes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Luken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Elpidio Raitin made a huge save. When Fausto Hustaz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tottenham Hotspur F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Hustaz couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Enekoitz to make the kick off. Arturo Vimaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Elpidio Raitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Hustaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Hustaz scored 2-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Raitin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Arturo Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fausto Hustaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Raitin was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Procopio during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes Pichincha got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Procopio. 74 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s Fausto Hustaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elpidio Raitin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elpidio Raitin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tottenham Hotspur F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
