CA BOCA JUNIORS's Denis Maju got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robustiano Gergori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cosme Pagomari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of CALAMARO A.C. booed when CA BOCA JUNIORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Maju didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, CA BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Evelio Jordy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Ermano. In the 28th minute Santo Deunoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Robustiano Gergori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Evelio Jordy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CALAMARO A.C.'s Cosme Pagomari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Lalla in the 41st minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, CA BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Evelio Jordy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Ermano.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Deunoro to make the kick off. Denis Maju took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Pagomari. Cosme Pagomari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Juan Domenec's late challenge caught a CA BOCA JUNIORS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Domenec helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CALAMARO A.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Juan Domenec hit a great ball. Evelio Jordy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Deunoro in the 71st minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Delmiro Tirso managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Fabricio Lalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Pagomari having to interfere. A collision led to CA BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Robustiano Gergori hit a great ball. Cosme Pagomari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Lalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Evelio Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CA BOCA JUNIORS's Evelio Jordy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Deunoro in the 97th minute of play. The CA BOCA JUNIORS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CA BOCA JUNIORS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
