Rüştü Aymans short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Esteve Quintan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Malte Gummeson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Hats might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteve Quintan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorato Hats ran back to his position shaking his head. Montecarlo's Esteve Quintan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Montecarlo from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Elija in the 55th minute of play forced Conchitas FC's goalkeeper Angelo Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Gau's late challenge caught a Montecarlo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
