After 2 played minutes EL MOSTRO got a freekick which was hit by Igor Gomez. Teo Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cristian Ekaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of CARNAVAL AURIAZUL booed when EL MOSTRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Inko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's zone, Prospero Leobardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Ariando came out of the goal and Prospero Leobardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Txema in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's goalkeeper Anacleto Ariando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Haimar. In the 30th minute, Aldo Damario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arsenio Ishmael fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's protests and gave Arsenio Ishmael a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute of the match Aldo Toribio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anacleto Ariando skillfully saved the ball. Alberto Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Ulises Liher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL MOSTRO 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CARNAVAL AURIAZUL the free kick. Ulises Liher kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Ishmael was the one to do the kick off. Prospero Leobardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anacleto Ariando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Leobardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Ladislao Haimar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Ariando came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by EL MOSTRO 's Ulises Liher. But to his dismay, Ulises Liher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 73 played minutes CARNAVAL AURIAZUL got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Liberto. CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's Anacleto Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Inko in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Ulises Liher made a precise shot to the right of Anacleto Ariando. CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 84thth minute of the game Ulises Liher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's Anacleto Ariando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aldo Toribio struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Anacleto Ariando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL MOSTRO . Ulises Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Ariando having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Gomez in the 93rd minute of play forced CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's goalkeeper Anacleto Ariando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. EL MOSTRO fully deserved thier win.
